Clear skin has always been something that I am so grateful for, many young people suffer with skin problems and it can greatly bring self confidence down. Many people ask me how I keep my skin so healthy and clear and I suppose it can just come down to each individual being different, but in a number of cases it is due to not following the right steps and using the correct products.
My skin type is oily, so therefore, in theory, I am more prone to break-outs. However, I follow a very strict cleansing routine that ensures my skin is completely stripped of all of the oils and grease that have built up over night and then throughout the day. I follow this routine both morning and night, whilst also doing other things (i.e mud masks) only once a week.
Here are the steps that I take and the products that I use for my everyday routine:
Step one: Cleanse & Exfoliate
The above products are my two go-to’s for removing makeup and exfoliating my skin. Both products are formulated with Vitamin E and exfoliate to remove all of the dead skin cells and build up residue. The products have proven that, for my skin, if I use them regularly I will have clearer and softer skin in no time!
Step two: Toner
The B.Pure Micellar Water, or the ‘super water’ as they like to call it, is a 3 in 1 toner that cleanses, tones and refreshes the skin with a cucumber juice extract. This one of the best toners I have used and I would highly recommend this to anyone with oily skin as it really strips away the built up oils and residue. It is also a completely cruelty-free product!
Step 3: Moisturiser & Gels
Lately I have been avoiding moisturisers and turning to Aloe Vera treatments, the above two are samples that I was given and they both work amazingly on my skin. Aloe Vera is known to soften and improve skin conditions, and it also helps to soothe any sores. It takes a while longer for it to soak into the skin, but once it does your skin will be softer then ever and will smell great!
Step 4: Oils & treatments
COCONUT OIL. Coconut oil will be your best friend, not just for beauty, but for your hair, for your food, for your general lifestyle. It is the holy grail of all products! The above two are my all-time favourites, and as they are so multi-purpose I use them for everything! If you get dry areas on your skin, or feel dry after a thorough cleansing then press some coconut oil into your skin and your good to go. If you want me to write a post on all of the uses for coconut oils then let me know in the comments!
So that is my skin routine and favourite cleansing products, if you liked this post then let me know and I will be sure to do more like this!
