July has been a great month, so many opportunities knocking on my door that have developed me hugely as a person. I have been lucky enough to grab hold of a 3-month magazine internship at Cent magazine which has been an eye-opening, fantastic experience … (posts coming shortly, I promise) and have been fully exploring London and all of it’s secrets. July, july, july, what a month! I have so many fashion favourites that I am going to attempt to cram into a neat’n’tidy post for you. So without further a do, I present to you my July fashion favourites…
£850 – Loewe
Loewe is my new favourite designer brand. In their latest collection there are these fabulously quirky elephant bags that have just become my latest obsession, I will be counting up the dimes for this one. They come in black, pink and red and yellow, and are hand-crafted using leather folding techniques, UGH OBSESSED.
£1,095 – Anya Hindmarch
A short while ago I wrote a post for Nerve magazine discussing the key trends at London fashion week AW16, Anya Hindmarch was by-far one of my favourite designer. Inspired by video games such as Pacman and whacky onomatopoeia graphics she created a unique collection that I absolutely adore! Backpacks are my fave, and she has three of this kind that are all divine.
$176 (Currently in Sale) – Nicopanda
If you haven’t heard of Nicopanda, then seriously go and check them out. They are the coolest brand and have a combo of louche, relaxed clothing and 90’s esc inspired stuff, all 100% amazing. If London AW16’s trends were a crop top, it would be the above. The ruffles and feminine finishes are perfect for pairing with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and some clunky platforms. LOVE.
£375 – Typical Freaks
Anyone who knows me well enough knows I love Typical Freaks. I discovered the brand when I wrote about the revival of punk in AW16, the brand really embraces difference in fashion and they have some really desirable pieces – The above bomber jacket is one of my favourites as it would go with anything in my wardrobe whether I am dressing up or dressing down and it looks so carefully made and greatly designed.
$225 – R.M.Williams
If you want a sturdy belt, the above hand-plaited belt by R.M.Williams is the one for you. Their products are too die for. The above belts are hand-made by expert craftsmen and have hours spent on them to ensure quality and longevity.
I went to a R.M.Williams shop opening and they had a lady there hand plaiting the belts with the finest quality leather, the belts are so strong and are made to last a lifetime so they therefore definitely had to make it on to my favourites list.
You have come to the end of this post, it was bloody hard to select a few as I could go on for days but there we have it! A July beauty favourites will be coming up soon, so definitely stay tuned for that post! What are your fashion favourites for this month? Did you agree with any of mine?
